Tunique Flutter - Jean Zara - Compensés Other stories |

A few days ago, my first version of the Flutter by Papercut patterns appeared and made of jersey by The Sweet Sweet Mercerie for a nice fluidity. As you know, I love to test different fabrics on the same pattern since it convinced me ... And I like many details about the Flutter : "V" back and above the 'tulips' sleeves that give a "retro" style. This last point that decided the choice of this print Toile Chevron Beltza by Ma Petite Mercerie. I was hooked on this zigzag pattern and the harmonious combination of the three colors.
Level: Beginner - Timing : 2 hours - Cost: €€€
The Flutter can be achieved by dress or tunic and this time I wanted to test the tunic release relating to the originality of print.
The flared back and again these "tulip" sleeves confer a 70's style and remind of me of my mom's dresses. It was an opportunity to associate a fabric with especially for holding sleeves. When I flashed this "zigzag" print by Ma Petite Mercerie, I also like and especially the mix of 3 colors. This one soothes the "zig zag" generous;))))
After sewing the Flutter is incredibly simple and technically well thought out. As a reminder, do not cut back on the fold which facilitates the realization of the back through V. Also for the back and the sleeves are ideal and make it easy to make beautiful finishes especially on the rounded edges of the sleeves. It also has the virtue of its value the printed solid color.
Tip: For a report adjusted prefer a smaller size so I took XS size usually S.
Pattern: Flutter by Papercut patterns ($ 25 NZD / € 16.60 pocket and $ 17 NZD / € 11.3 pdf)
Fabric: UK8 - Toile Chevron Beltza (250g) (60in x Width 55in) by Ma Petite Mercerie - € 15.40 / m
